'Centrist' socialism isn't a thing: if you call yourself a 'socialist' & a 'centrist,' you're just a confused Tory.

By definition, 'centrism' ignores the poorest & the richest & perpetuates the status quo. Socialism encompasses all & demands societal revolution.

3. Racist/anti-humanitarian
4. Sounds good, if jingoistic
5. Fascism - look at causes!

Some of those who call themselves 'centrists' think a bit of tinkering at the edges will enable 'equal opportunity.' If you look at British society, & conclude there's no need for complete change, you're a Tory, plain & simple. You might be a 'centrist' Tory, but you're a Tory.
