I worry that the justice they need now will never be delivered.
First priority when the ship sinks is to find wreckage to stay afloat and avoid the sharks.
No one cares about the crew amongst the wreckage.
Depends on the "defining moment" of course...maybe politics will become potent again?

The loss of evapotranspiration and massive, hidden changes to ground water are yet another risk compounding with climate change.
