Picked up #Nioh2. Killed by the first bigger enemy without landing a single hit and got a prompt telling that "You don't have to fight every enemy you see". 22 hours in, still fighting every enemy I see and dying constantly but having so much fun. Such a great game.

If you are gonna watch just one YT video this year, this is a pretty solid pick.

National team misses playoffs in #WEURO2025 by conceding a goal in injury time.

My local team got butchered in Europa League qualifiers 6 - 0.

So a pretty normal thursday in Finnish football.

Reasons for my last run's poor pace:
-Got absolutely drenched, twice. Never trusting weather forecasts again
-Got harassed by a crow (Didn't know they are territorial)
-Stopped to stare at a grazing deer for several minutes
-Poor fitness overall

Nature is out to get me.

I have intended to read Sylvia Plath for many years and finally picked up a collection of her poetry.

I mean I expected this to be dark but some of these poems are downright terrifying. Lady Lazarus gave me actual chills. #booksky

Ok caved in to the hype and got #ClairObscur and it's kinda awesome. The mechanics, music and the setting are so fresh while it still having that nostalgic JRPG feel. I love parrying as a mechanic even though I'm not very good at it so the combat is a constant dopamine feed.

New #propaganghi single might not be nowhere near their top-10 songs but fucking hell the lyrics hit hard + I am grateful they still exist and make music.

There's something hilarious and amazing about the fact that the band that takes all the best parts of British pop music and sounds better than any band from there is from Ireland. #FontainesDC

I switched from winter running shoes to asphalt shoes today. Usually this happens earliest at mid-april. Might have something to do with the fact that 3 months of winter have been downgraded to some new kind of season when it's snowless, dark, cold and all the roads are frozen.

#Silo is such a good show because it caters to at least one phobia for anyone: Heights, closed spaces, water, strong women.

Watched new ep of Severance while drinking morning coffee, meditated, got a haircut and a beard trim and am having a beer while waiting for a train to Helsinki to see some kickass bands tonight.

Definately not the worst day of my life, at lest not yet.

For a non native speaker who thinks their understanding of English language is well above average Finn, trying to read To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf is truly a humbling experience. Picked it up twice and gave up both times after spending 5min per page. The prose is amazing though. #booksky

I won't keep pretending I believe in tech as a force for good.

That ship has sailed, that horse has bolted, and that gutless CEO has already embraced fascism.

Instead, I'll call it like I see it, and I see a world in forced decay.

I'm Tired of Pretending Tech is Making the World Better
I'm tired of pretending tech makes things better.  I'm tired of kidding myself that all these apps, these chatbots, these "tools" are doing anything but dragging us into the mud and the shit and calling it progress.  I sat down at a cafe a few days ago, hungry and ready

I did the soundtrack for this pretty dope roguelite a while ago. It's now on sale for all-time low price so go grab it if it's that something you think you'd be interested in.

Played #slaytheprincess and #1000xresist almost back to back (both were awesome btw) and wanted to play something less narrative-heavy and emotionally taxing next so decided to go for all achievements in Sekiro.

I truly must hate myself on some level.

I would never have believed One Hundred Years of Solitude could be adapted to tv but I genuinely think the first season was fantastic. Also serves as a great companion piece for the book for a scatterbrain like me cause you can actually keep track of the passage of time and characters.
