Just a trans rat girl, sitting in your computer doing tech support.
+x for Spell Attacks would be good, cause those are generally hard to use in later levels.

I think Spellcasters could benefit from getting more access to Action Compression/some more 1 Action spells. Offensive cantrips would be a lot more fun with more range or lower action cost.

A Troop should have improved Will and Fortitude to represent the increased hit mass and morale from being with a bunch of your buddies and their Reflex should always suck, cause how tf are they dodging?

Also why can't I battleform into a Gug and cast Blood Feast? Like c'mon!

I dunno I think PF2e is sometimes too concerned with Balance and especially holding casters back.

Like Chain Lightning should decimate a Troop. Yet it's actually uniquely bad compared to other AoE spells. It also doesn't sit right with me that troops just seem to be level scaled from the base.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying?
Technically allows you to choose if you're not happy, but you get extra XP if you stick with what you roll.

"Why won't you die?"

"You can't kill me in any way that matters!"

I dunno who says which line. Works both ways.

He seems perfect for a scene were one son comes out as gay and the other as ace and he frustratingly exclaims: does nobody like women around here?
And his daughter is like: well, actually!

Gianni Matragano should voice him.

Just get that fucking redhead dwarf out of there.

Grey Jedi don't have a philosophy, because unlike Jedi or Sith they're a general collective term for essentially heretics of the Jedi Order.
That's more or less what it boils down to, Jedi who disagree with the dogma of Jedi faith without embracing the Sith or the Dark Side.

Aaah, that makes sense.
December 15, 2025 at 10:36 PM
I think I dreamed about this game.

Like big deja vu energy on that cover.

FASERIP is the best TTRPG system simply because it sounds like Face Rip which is the funniest name a ttrpg system for super heroes could have.
December 15, 2025 at 10:18 PM
I kinda wish they actually let comic characters retire.

It's so weird how at the end of New X-Men vol 2 the kids get basically knighted and then that's basically it for them.
December 15, 2025 at 6:29 PM
I still hate how JJ brought that specific lightsaber and imbued it with so much *meaning* and it only got worse in RoS.

"I can feel Evil things were done with the plot blade"

"Oh yeah Rey, remember the child slicer 9000 you're holding?"
December 15, 2025 at 6:02 PM
DnD having top marks for Uniqueness and Ease of Learning is so fucking laughable.

Also Star Wars RPG? WHICH FUCKING ONE?

Same with Warhammer.
December 15, 2025 at 5:52 PM
Cards that came out less than 2 years ago shouldn't be powercrept.

Maguc is so cooked.
December 15, 2025 at 2:20 PM
See, I actually have not.
December 15, 2025 at 2:17 PM
That's not my point.

I don't see what it adds? What would functionally change if lasers were as ineffective against shields as kinetic weapons or didn't exist at all?

And as is, lasers are so volatile their use should be about as taboo as atomics themselves.
December 15, 2025 at 6:35 AM
Is it though?

It just kinda creates really awkward situations.

Like shields counter kinetics.
Lasers counter shields, but are verboten.
Ergo both are only useful against unshielded opponents but only one of them can cause accidental war crimes...so why would anyone actually use lasers?
December 15, 2025 at 12:05 AM
I mean it's scifi with drug induced ftl travel.

Laser weapons can't penetrate shields is a reasonable enough assumption. (If they block all light you can do visor stuff)

I think what bugs me the most is that despite this lasers aren't outright banned with the convention.
December 14, 2025 at 11:47 PM
You don't need lasers for that. Just shields that make guns useless.

And lasers are the opposite of useless.
December 14, 2025 at 11:42 PM
It's literally been 10+ years, I might've foolishly gone in on a higher difficulty.
December 14, 2025 at 11:39 PM
I kinda love the idea of a game where you fight mecha as foot soldiers.
December 14, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Laser weapons with exchangeable heat sinks/charge packs. Smaller and on weaker settings can fire many shots before burned out.

Then you introduce a gun that burns one entire cell per shot.
December 14, 2025 at 11:32 PM
The Laser/Shield interaction always struck me as odd in Dune.

I'm not really sure what exactly it's supposed to accomplish.
December 14, 2025 at 11:16 PM
I remember stopping my first attempt at HL1 after the government troops show up which are super tanky to the point it felt really difficult and not in a fun way. I don't think I ever tried to go back.

This was after I beat Half Life 2 several times.
