Dave Brain was born #OTD in 1879 in Hereford, United Kingdom. He hit .331 for the 1902 #Bisons. Played seven seasons in the majors. He hit 10 home runs for the 1907 Boston Doves to lead the National League. #Buffalo

#Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer Stan Barron was born #OTD in 1921. He called #Bisons games on the radio in the mid-60s and the team’s MVP award is now named for him. His Free Form Sports radio show on WBEN was essential listening for local sports fans.

#OTD in 1970, former #Bisons shortstop Lou Boudreau was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Boudreau hit .331 with 17 HRs, 57 RBIs and scored 88 runs in 115 games with #Buffalo in 1939.
