As the #AssistedDying bill stands (or stood, before the Lords - god bless them - took issue with it), it poses a very deliberate - one might say calculated - danger to the life of disabled people, people with depression, kids with illnesses that aren't being well treated etc etc.

eg:
Key exclusions that were declined, according to parliamentary debates and reports, included: • Individuals with Anorexia: Amendments to specifically exclude those with anorexia nervosa from accessing assisted dying were ejected, despite concerns from charities that eating disorders should not be classified as terminal. • Homeless People and Prisoners: Attempts to exclude people who are homeless or in prison were dismissed • Mental Disorder or Depression: Amendments aimed at excluding people with mental health conditions, such as depression were not accepted, • "Undue Influence" or "Burden" Factors: Proposals that would have made individuals neligible if their wish to die was motivated by not wanting to be a burden, or if they were potentially under undue influence, were rejected. • Broader Disability Protections: Proposals intended to provide extra protections for disabled people, particularly those struggling due to lack of social care. were also voted down.
