There was a time I studied religious books etc - mostly some form of Hinduism - Vedanta, I think.

I stopped buying/eating bread. I also adopted a senior cat, and sing to her every morning along with a YouTube video while I brush/comb her - it's a great way for both of us to start our day.

At age 22, I toured the Anne Frank museum. I left in a daze. Until that time, I never fully understood that someone could've/would've murdered me for no reason other than that my parents were Jewish. It changed my life. (I read the book as a teen, but the museum is what had the impact).
