Azalea Market is now open in the heart of Downtown Atlanta! Loved the interior and pleas let surprised with the offerings. The place was lovely, people are excited, and it was so awesome to see grocery carts being pushed around in Downtown.

Somehow applied to a single job and got an offer in less than a month. I feel like a unicorn. And this unicorn is moving to Chicago in October!

Bye, Chicago! For now…

Quiet evening in the Loop tonight. Sure would be a shame for someone to disrupt it with the military…

Being flown out to Chicago for site visit/interviews next week! Things are moving crazy fast. What neighborhoods should I check out to possibly live in?

Have an interview for a job in Chicago that I really want today and I stupidly scheduled it for the end of the day. Now all I can do is doom spiral in my head about it 😬

Spent my Saturday night doing a cash flow projection for an interview assignment with a glass of wine and I quite enjoyed myself. I’m truly getting old 🙃

Zohran leads a RIDICULOUS pace for the Bus vs Pedestrian race on 34th St. God I love this town.

Am I the annoying coworker insisting our whole staff have an intentional conversation around AI use by our org? Why yes I am. I will not willingly be a slopper!

El Tesoro has the fire pit going and I’m chilly riding my bike in Aug in Atlanta. What the hell is going on? Not complaining though!

We should execute all people driving cars with really loud mufflers. There I said it.

Okay, I’m fully committing to myself to be out of Atlanta by the top of 2026, late 2025. Chicago, NYC, or abroad are top of mind. Working in affordable housing finance and looking to stay in it, housing programmatic work, or int’l development. Would appreciate any leads or recs for orgs to watch.

Everyone in Georgia is aware that all these runoffs and elections every year is voter suppression, right?

I long for the day I’m hit (non-fatally) by a Waymo.

Is anyone saying that New Yorkers need to rank Mandan because he is hot?! Like rank him as the hottest candidate. Do it. 🥵
If you’re under 30, you weren’t even born the last time Andrew Cuomo lived here.

This is your city. Vote like it.

Listening to a man in biker spandex talking about how he is selling his house next to Krog b/c it’s “gotten to be too much” & they don’t have a plan for where to go next. They will be “homeless” for a bit. Then goes on to say they will be staying in the loft they own, which will be “tough.” 🙃😩

I'm sorry but the new redesign inside Five Points Marta station is like putting lip stick on a pig...

I’m proud of the work I get to do, even if it isn’t perfect and relies on market-based solutions. It’s just one piece of the pie that brings some affordability to Atlanta’s metro.
What’s the status of the Community Foundation’s $200M affordable housing pledge?

The foundation has allocated $121 million to build and renovate nearly 5,000 affordable housing units.

Car cucked ATL DOT has signed on Waymo and Uber to sponsor and be at Streets Alive. I have no hope for this city ever making a serious transition from car dependency. I indeed want to miss this.

Hear me out, Atlanta. Replace the downtown Hooters with a Chili’s. It would absolutely kill down here.

I bought some new clothes that kinda show off the progress I’ve made at the gym and for the first time in my life I literally looked at myself and thought, “damn, I look good.” Man it was such an endorphin high.

Congestion pricing was designed to finance more than $15 billion in critical transit upgrades in New York City. Those investments will take years. But the parallel changes at street level are already apparent. Here’s what we know so far. nyti.ms/4mbuGg0
