I created and run the 38,000 strong MicromobilityNYC community, including organizing many of the marches for congestion pricing in NYC. We're doing culture shift and movement building.

My favorite Zohran moment of this campaign. And why, more generally, he won:
This quote from the people sueing to try and kill a bike lane in Brooklyn is just too fucking funny.

"We want the court to represses people's first amendment rights because we're worried if they knew how we're trying to kill them they might not buy from us"

We MUST learn the lesson from 31st's ave one problem section - RAT RUNNING.

Well this will be fun in NYC. Can't wait.
Waymo privatized another public street:

Chanel approaching 4th, San Francisco

Possibly queued for a Billie Eilish show at Chase Center ~half mile away.

The light rail train on 4th seen passing in front of this roboherd has more passenger capacity than all of them combined.

Bike lanes along park edges are a no brainer, yet somehow another year is gone with lanes missing along Central Park.

The hard truth: If this Council fails to pass Universal Daylighting or passes a watered down version, kids will die, and it will be entirely Adrienne Adams' fault.

Daylighting.

This Coca Cola truck is parked illegally in the daylighting at this intersection. Had I been 2 seconds ahead this cab driver making a blind turn without yielding would have killed me.

You have 1 week left to enjoy outdoor dining in NYC before they are ripped out

Bike lanes bring order from chaos. (3rd Ave just got green paint)
November 19, 2025 at 2:20 PM
Literally half the days in next month in NYC are gridlock alert days. We will do nothing to deter traffic though, because Gov. Hochul decided it was more important to pander to suburban Car Karens when implementing congestion pricing.

I want to live in a world where removing the damage done by urban highways doesn't sound impossible or crazy
November 18, 2025 at 2:43 PM
You'll soon be able to ride 100+ blocks on 3rd Ave without hitting a single red, which is good because the current condition blows:

In the early days of Zohran's campaign he advised us to put together a plan for what advocates wanted. This is what I ended up showing him:

City Of Neighborhoods Plan
It's time to return the streets of NYC to residents, prioritizing urban appropriate transportation methods.

The most neglected people in NYC

31st Ave is a "bike boulevard," and cars are supposed to be rare guests. It fails at one section
November 14, 2025 at 3:01 PM
As predicted, drivers have gotten used to the measly $9 congestion pricing toll and are back to breaking the city

Universal Daylighting has only days left to pass otherwise it has to be reintroduced next year all over again. An update from the Majority Whip:
November 12, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Freedom Drive through Forest Park was pedestrianized during Covid. Some awful people now want to reverse that
November 11, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Zohran's win is a reordering of public priorities. No longer will the car be king in NYC, it's our time
November 10, 2025 at 2:21 PM
Someone was just doored and killed in NYC again. It's time to fix these lanes for good
November 9, 2025 at 2:20 PM
Our boy Zohran has won and the vibes in Astoria are impeccable.

Still the GOAT video about what happened here in this election.
My favorite Zohran moment of this campaign. And why, more generally, he won:

Downtown Brooklyn is the real life version of that meme of a million people crammed into the sidewalks and a single driver lounging in a car
November 8, 2025 at 3:28 PM
This feels like a "too many cooks" gag
November 7, 2025 at 10:51 PM
NYC knows how to build self-enforcing streets that slow vehicles and micromobility down (to benefit pedestrians.)
November 7, 2025 at 3:02 PM
The Crescent Cut -- connecting the North and South sides by the QBB is now open, (a vital link between Queens and Brooklyn)
