They’re pretty wonderful! I skipped the fig portion bc I couldn’t find any and did a basic vanilla whipped cream, but they beautiful, easy to make, and delicious. The way the pear juice flavors the reduced wine is just heavenly!

I made pears poached in Zinfandel, and they were a huge hit! I served them with some vanilla whipped cream and a couple spoons of the cooking liquid, which was beautifully flavored by the pear juice. So simple, but so good!

After years of searching for a good kit to hold all my HRT supplies, turns out the $15 Harbor Freight mini toolbox is kinda perfect. Top compartment is for grab and go, the two drawers are for E (not shown, duh, but perfect size for vials) and gear storage. Never beating the butch tgirl allegations.

Turns out I’m enjoying the The Shining miniseries a lot more than I expected. Like it’s not great, but it isn’t bad either. It has the charm of like a Goosebumps ep, or a local theater production. Look, they forgot to put snow on the trees! Danny sings a cute song about how he likes snow! It’s fun!

I made a little weeknight dessert with some leftover pie dough that I used to make as a staff snack at the pie shop. It’s laminated pie dough filled with a paste of brown sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, espresso powder, and melted butter, then egg washed, coated with sugar, and baked. Easy and tasty!
