No. Imagine I have a game X that I'd be happy to trade for your game Y, but you don't want X - you'd rather have Z from someone else. Happily, the person who has Z will trade for my X. So we all trade in a big circle.
That's a very simple math trade, in reality the circle would be around 20 people.

I've been trying to do this as well. Have you participated in the BGG UK math trades? They're every other month; I've had some success, though not as much as I'd like.

Some of what we played in the challenge. Fuller list in the alt text (up to the word count). Lots of games we only played once, it turns out. To qualify for this challenge all three of us have to be in the game, but not necessarily the only players.

Last night we scrambled to play another 5 games before the end of the year to fulfil our 250 games as a family in 2025 challenge. Very fun evening.

I like to fuck with them by not tracking XP publicly. You just get to the end of a session and tell 3/5 of them that they levelled up and leave them wondering why.
