Shanghai remains one of my favorite cities to explore for its architecture. Its history and personality re-evolves with every turn of the corner—no less is the NHM.

As someone who has lived in both Southern #California and south of #Denver, I loved this piece in the @nyreviewofarch.bsky.social on #housing. Curious why Denver's suburbs feel so much like Orange County's? Give it a read:

There's been a lot of chatter about hempcrete. Why? Hemp, from the cannabis plant, is offers insulation, carbon capture, and low environmental impact. As a bio-sourced material, it is significantly more sustainable than concrete.

Good #design isn’t stagnant. It’s evolves, adapts, and grows with us—maintaining its relevancy as we continue to modify the landscape for our needs and way of life. Good design lasts into the future it never imagined in the beginning.

From the outside or the inside? Bellver Castle’s sandstone arches perfectly frame the 14th century gothic structure’s circular courtyard keeping this Spanish palace fortified yet beautiful.

Form 🤝 Function

Jardín del Turia in #Valencia, #Spain is a prime example of how quality of life can be increased with #GoodDesign. The park is a social hub visual masterpiece.

Originally planned to divert flood water the city, the architects didn't stop there. Instead, they asked, "What if?"

“The concept centers around 25 distinct ideas, influenced by global examples such as Lisbon's quiosques, Turin's porticoes, and Tokyo's public toilets. These examples are brought to life below through Satoshi's illustrations, emphasizing the blend of functionality and enjoyment in #UrbanDesign.”
