I feel bad for people who don't play competitive because they have that to deal with the worst of part of the game to them repetitively. MKWorld has been the racing game I put the most time into (~550 hours) out of the 3 that have came out and enjoying it and (most) of the people I've come to know.

And yes 24 people makes a HUGE difference. It really ups the intensity, especially in knockout mode (which I think is my favorite part of the game)

I mean if it's not your thing then it's not your thing, but you CANNOT say they didn't innovate when you can dick around and go offroading between races instead of just sitting there in a lobby watching Miis cycle through a few idle animations.
