Weather in my home town today / tomorrow.
Growing up there were some pretty big heatwaves, but nothing that I remember forecasting 45+ degrees C. Plenty of recordings this high (and higher) "in the shade" though.
Pretty sure my mum will still have a doona on.

I was going to cut up an old doona cover to make into a curtain, but turns out it's already the right size, as well as being a cute pattern and thick enough to block out light well.
A bit of light comes in from the top window which might be an issue during the super heat of the day, but we'll see.

The web's gotten so bad that when I look up a contractor, I'm immediately suspicious of any clean site with lots of recent reviews, but a crappy website from 2005 seems like a seal of quality.
Hell, at this point, if I typed a URL and got a DNS error, I'd probably go "ooh, this guy's good!"
