In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

The ADL has decided to treat fascists as allies and progressives as enemies. For a group that is tasked with protecting American Jews, that is a world historic fuck up.

I will never forgive these people for their moral decrepitude.

America’s Dumbest Billionaires Fail to Stop Zohran Mamdani - The American Prospect
It’s encouraging on many levels: New York City didn’t submit to a campaign of flagrant bigotry from disgraced two-time loser Andrew Cuomo, and Americans, particularly young ones, can still be politically inspired by a good candidate with a good message.

I launched the American Mobilization Project because the fight can’t wait until 2028 or even 2026. AMP channels thousands of small contributions to anti-Trump mobilization all over the country.

1/ A few groups funded by AMP had big wins last night.
They want us to feel powerless, but we have real power.
AMP’s goal is to supercharge deep organizing and mobilize as many Americans as possible by investing in the state and local organizations already doing this work on the ground.

One of the ways a democracy disappears: the legislative branch neuters itself and takes orders from the leader.

This week Senate Republicans will go "nuclear" to change the body's rules. The change? Stop having separate votes on nominees. Just do 50 at a time.

Not kidding.

Good morning.

Senate Republicans said they wouldn't change the rules of the Senate and as soon as Trump told them to change the rules they are changing the rules.

And not a small change! Obliterates advice and consent. Confirming Trump nominees 100 at a time! With one vote!

As a Jew, how do I distance myself from these monsters? Their living with terrorism is no excuse — I lived just blocks from the Twin Towers, saw the people jumping to avoid burning, and felt the ground shake as I watched the towers fall.
