People suck. I was privileged to be the freedom ride for 10 souls yesterday. Puppy mill to a national rescue I help. This girl was the worst coat-wise. They will be rehabed and adopted out for a life of love and leisure well deserved.

“FernGully the Last Rainforest” was a foundational movie to my radicalization. As a child it built on my anticonsumption, anticorporation, tree-hugging ways. I introduced it to my 7 year old tonight. His reaction was “I give it a 5 life lessons and nature aren't really fun. Sonic is better.” #ouch

Living in a blue state, I am ever more concerned about the DOE's effect esp on red states. Every teacher in my son's school here has been “blue ticketed,” even tenured. Between restructuring and the uncertainty of the DOE situation, the district can’t plan for next year or guarantee anyone now.

Once a week my kid (7) is responsible for dinner. Has to be homemade. Tonight was meatball sub sandwiches. Seasoned with his heart and in my humble opinion did far better than I would have taste wise lol.
