I picked up my library card today. Hadn't been in that library in years. Probably never without my Mom. It was just as I remembered it. Beautiful. Peaceful. Homey. It gave me the energy to keep doing important errands. It made me feel better. Thanks, library. Thanks, Mom. #library #growth #grief

As someone who has spent many hours on the phone with insurance companies (as a very, very skilled pharmacy claims biller in a past career) I'm going to tell you something. I am thoroughly convinced that it is ALL there to get you to give up. 🧵

There are many times o' year when I miss my Mom. This is one. Even after she lost her parents (at this time of year, four years apart) she did a great job making it a loving, joyful, sparkling time full of life.
Mom, I'm finally starting my book next year. So there. 😁 I love you.
