How about we prioritize making it easier to raise children, like better wages, flexible time off and work from home, affordable childcare, etc which help families *prioritize getting to school*, a root cause of literacy and math scores falling in some areas before we dial rotary phones again?

Here's another watercolour from a sketching visit back to Winchester where I spent a year at the art school in the '60s. I had a particularly productive stay in the late '90s and this is favourite from then. It was bought by a friend and I'm sure she's looking after it.
