We’re about to watch A Very British Christmas is about an opera singer getting stranded in Yorkshire when her flight gets cancelled and a handsome widower runs her B&B. It sounds shit, as all Christmas films should be. Why is she in Yorkshire if she’s not from Yorkshire we only have a tiny airport

I fear I'm starting to understand why my boomer dad gets annoyed by everything. I was in the supermarket and a woman had her friend on speakerphone and was very loudly describing a fake Christmas tree she was looking at. JUST TAKE A PHOTO! And I don't need to hear both sides of this conversation.
