SAKURA NAMIKI: recently read it again for my little tournament :) a 1957 class s shoujo by the late macoto takahashi, following table tennis players at an all girls school. it's definitely aged, but i really adore some of the page composition and panelling on display here

(replying from here to cut my little rant out from the thread oop) TONARI NO ROBOT: a one volume scifi manga about a robot and her childhood friend. its rly interesting! i was a little skeptical at first w them meeting when the human character was Very young, but its handled well imo.

RAINBOW!: not yuri technically, it's an american wlw webcomic, but that counts for my purposes. and this is........ fine. it starts off a little too saccharine for my tastes and it took about 30ish chapters for me to actually get into it but its alright.

ROID: oh, this one was REALLY good. two volume sci-fi series about the girls of a robotics club illegally building a life-like android. questions of the line between human and robot, a really well done ambulatory wheelchair user, and yuri undertones on the side... what more could you ask for

HANA TO USO TO MAKOTO: a little light on the yuri but ough. oughhh... one volume, it's about a girl taking care of the zombified corpse of her best friend. the cover, title, and description make it seem darker than it is imo, but it's a really poignant story about grief.
