The point isn't really AI; it's that copyright laws rarely help small creators sue corporations for theft. Instead, they often TAKE work from actual creators— artists can't use characters THEY designed, because e.g Disney owns the rights to them fanwork writers + artists can get legal threats, etc.

Anyway organizations like Copyright Alliance (with member companies like fucking Disney + Adobe) do NOT have the interests of small creators in mind regardless of what they say about AI. Adobe is using it to push *their own* generative AI program trained on the mountains of stuff they 'legally' own!
