I like Krita but the way how it works makes my brain want to explode, especially with how clipping works. Default brushes feel nice to use though

Still the dev team still hasn't fixed that missed pen stroke issue that has been there since One UI 7, and the new UI has weird shit like weird blobs in pen strokes, the eraser tool being unstable. I've sent feedback reports and I hope these are fixed

HiPaint is jank as fuck but it ✨️works✨️

And OFC I would use CSP on my tablet but I hate paying for subscriptions, so I use my tablet as an additional monitor for my PC so I can draw on it w/ CSP as a workaround-ish thing

Though ATP HiPaint fits all of my needs now and its like. one that has the least friction for me

Of all the drawing apps that I have used so far, it's like. HiPaint comes out on top, with CSP coming at a close second. Krita at a third and then some

Affinity Photo, Designer, etc, is temporarily(?) completely free on the ipad (download. start trial, hit "buy", and it's "$0" according to Reddit).

Perpetual licenses and downloads for desktops are no longer obtainable. Affinity will have more info on Oct 30th.

I noticed that typing on a membrane keyboards makes my hands feel fatigued compared to typing on a mechanical keyboard. Like my hands slowly gave up 💥
