I just looked up where I use to buy inexpensive frames from (back when I did art fairs and would stock up) and omg their prices have literally doubled T_T

It blows my mind how long it's been!❤️ In a good way.
And Ha! Now you're cool older art senpai XD

One day hopefully we'll get to make it to Ancient Senpai

My husband has remote worked for years and when a 20yo coworker at his last job finally saw a photo/learned his age they called him the company's Sexy Grandpa. Works for me 😆 But I seriously forget I'm kinda old now

Like I've ended up working with several LGD, and they are very happy to ignore humans that they don't respect. They're very content to work without people. They absolutely do not trust or care for people they don't know. They really confuse a lot of trainers

They want an ally. Not simply to please
January 23, 2026 at 1:45 AM
Oh yeah, no, totally. Just meaning it's not an intrinsic trait like, say, with a lab or GSD. Like you implied there: I find that animals that don't really have that as a core motivation only need to feel like you respect and value them first *and then* they are happy if they see they've pleased you.

I was totally joking around too but, after I made my first comment, I checked out the others and realized my brain had derped. By the time you replied I'd figured it out and was trying to think of some comment that would work with this:

Turns out it was a bit difficult to leave!
January 22, 2026 at 11:30 PM
Were the difficult conditions it being difficult to leave? Because omg I would want to stay there forever.

Adding on for others: Please know that parvo & distemper are UTTERLY HORFFIC diseases that are incredibly easy for animals to contract. Seeing that 40% stat is shocking me even though I've been aware of vaccine hesitancy in pets for a while.

PLEASE do not risk your pet getting or spreading either!

Both were fine instantly.

The other person commenting on your post was spot on too. You can do the stronger ones at separate times if you like. I do that with the 3 year rabies vaccine & also with extremely old dogs & super small animals (like ferrets.)
January 22, 2026 at 9:45 PM
It's good that people get warned about rare risks but there's also often easy steps to take if they do happen. Most reactions happen in 15 min so I just wait around 30. A reversal shot fixes it. I've only ever seen reactions in one ill ferret & then, lol, my mom who had autoimmune issues like me
January 22, 2026 at 9:45 PM
I'm immune compromised & rely on vaccines but am also at greater risk of complications. I also did small animal rescue. "Exotics" often have to get vaccines meant for dogs/cats which increases risk of adverse reactions. Basically: I feel you. That said: talk to your vet about what they meant-
January 22, 2026 at 9:45 PM
(There are a few old-school dog breeds that aren't praise seeking BUT) yeah it's just people having no clue about dog behaviors trying to blame anything but themselves for their lack of willingness to learn how to work with or help their dogs. (I've done a lot of rescue & rehab of last chance dogs)
January 22, 2026 at 9:12 PM
I seriously considered becoming a vet tech but, same, it's the people... I know what kind of humans vets have to deal with and I'd probably get charged with a crime at some point pretty early on.

You're seriously the best but, I mean, how could I miss such a good opportunity to laugh at myself!
January 22, 2026 at 3:55 AM
I'm REALLY good at writing if your goal is typos and a complete lack of comprehensible grammar though.

So if that's the case: I'm here to serve.

Seconded: @makgameadv.bsky.social has a memory & knowledge for Zelda like no one I've ever met in the 20+ years I've been doing this. I rely on him so often when I need to know something about the older games

@watcherjoshua.bsky.social is amazing for remembering community & websites

Yeah they're never very popular when I post them but they're one of my favorite things ever. The red and green print just looks exceptionally cool to me. www.flickr.com/photos/histo...

Since the manga volumes were released in black and white no one ever saw this as red unless you had the original monthly. It just looked like a dark sky, maybe a bit like a regular eclipse. This is why I try to collect and often scan from multiple sources.

It's utterly incredible. I seriously can't thank you enough for translating it and adding all those fun notes. It was truly such a lost historical treasure.

I wish more people would start pouring over it though so we could get more fun conversations regarding it! XD
