I play so many soulslikes that the final boss having at least 2 phases/health bars is just expected for me at this point and I actually like it, but yeah I get that

I actually enjoy the Radiance (and Absolute Radiance) but yeah Godhome was terrible

I don't think they agree considering one of the DLCs is a boss rush with every boss (including minibosses like the spirit warriors) in the game culminating in a harder version of the Radiance and if you lose at any point you start from square one

I like to talk about games I play, and I post a lot in a few discords, but I find it inconvenient to stop what I'm doing in-game to post a bunch of screenshots and impressions, and it would just distract me from actually playing the game. I dunno how livetweeters (or liveposters, as it were) do it.

Also I didn't talk about it at all on here but KCD was all I played for 3 weeks straight or so. Really interesting game. I'm excited to get around to KCD2 soon since it sounds like it doubles down and improves on everything I liked about the first game.

Not only does the theme bang, but giving the metal slime enemy its own battle theme is such an inspired choice in the first place

That makes sense, I didn't know it was that close to 1. I'd prefer they were just cameos but oh well. If the game is good overall I can live with that

Yeah, it sounds alright overall. It's just the OT1 characters that bug me, because they shouldn't be there at all and it kinda cheapens the world that they are. The world soulless is a bit of a buzzword nowadays but that's how stuff like that feels to me.

This pretty much put me off getting the game when I found out. Which may be an extreme reaction, but I really hate the gacha thing where characters who aren't actually in your party in the story can still be used in combat. I might still play OT0 on a good sale eventually but it stopped me for now.
