Yep, definitely not second screen viewing. You have to be watching all the time to track the progress of their emotions and what they're communicating to each other and the world. And why it is fun to rewatch, so many little details to notice in their performances or direction and cinematography.

Ah, to watch eps 5 and 6 for the first time! Jealous!

I don't know how that character was described in the book, but if they had cast someone attractive but not with an athletic build, nerdy but cool and artsy, dive bar-regular looking, maybe kind of femme, and he hooked up with Scott Hunter as played? Now we're talking.

Also, I wish they had taken the opportunity with Kip to cast ONE romantic lead who doesn't look like a pro athlete and instead looks like...a would-be art history grad student. Different casting may have helped sell the excitement of these two men from totally different worlds colliding.

I think it's also that the actors just don't have the same insane chemistry as the leads and didn't sell the romance imo. The dialogue was cheesier, or at least the actors didn't bring the charisma to sell even the cheesy romance novel lines like in the main story.

Californian b. 1972 here, and the way you just awakened my memory of that word, utterly dormant for at least 40 years.

I hope this shitshow was a demonstration of malicious compliance.

Hey, sometimes it works just great! I've definitely gotten herbal based treatments at French pharmacies that do exactly what's needed, like for digestive issues and lingering coughs. I've also gotten medicine from the French pharmacist that require a prescription in the US.

French pharmacists will for sure talk to you about homeopathic treatments every time. That is culturally relevant information, however annoying.

Strong recommend for TextFormations if it's in the humanities. Small developmental editing shop, but with author support services and lots of experience getting academic writers over the hurdle of the diss (or book). www.textformations.com/author-suppo...

Never use "indeed." Or, as an early advisor said, "fuck indeed." Also, the only way out is through.
