I feel like if our government doesn’t have laws, why should the average citizen?
If the richest people aren’t required to pay taxes, why should we?

Nope. A third of the country. There were 245 million voter-eligible people in 2024. Of that number, 77.3 million of them voted for him. That is 32% of the country, so to speak, who were keen on him.
