Attorney. Lakers/Dodgers. Street Fighter 6 (Buff Manon). Thrice.

Thank you, AD.
Finally nice to win a clutch game against Philly.

I'm still peeved about AD missing clutch FTs against them in a loss from a few years back.

Thoughts on the bench:

(1) LaRavia definitely has some "don't mistake activity for achievement" to his game.

(2) Hayes putting on weight but still retaining his agility has been huge for his game. Especially defensively.

(3) Gabe did his best DFish impression with his poor PUJITs (iykyk)

My only hopium is that the conservative majority is so committed to being political strategists for MAGA that they'll uphold birthright citizenship knowing that to do otherwise would undoubtedly lose them independent/moderate voters
The evidence is the text. All you have to do is read the Constitution.

This game was so entertaining that I *almost* didn't notice the damn drone and the 50 different ads the TV production blasted onto the basketball court

In South Minneapolis, Minnesota, nearly two dozen neighbors confronted and surrounded ICE goons after rapid-response alerts were issued. The goons were questioning an East African man when the situation escalated, and they eventually left the area without making any arrests.

The discourse around Austin Reaves' MIP Award candidacy has been beyond disingenuous.

Before this year: "He's not good/important enough to win MIP!"

This year: "He's TOO good to win MIP, actually!"

Funny how quickly the goalposts shift.

Welp.

Yall have a good Friday night lmao.

We're about to see like 15 prospects in every NBA Draft moving forward getting the "next Austin Reaves" moniker, huh

Gabe Vincent is to JJ Redick what Taurean Prince was to Darvin Ham what Avery Bradley was to Frank Vogel what Ronnie Price was to Byron Scott

I'm not even saying Thiero is the "defensive stopper" the Lakers badly need. The kid is a 2nd round rookie.

But when the Lakers look more Slowtime than Showtime barely avoiding 8-sec violations getting past halfcourt and lose so many 50/50 loose ball plays... Thiero's fit screams off the page.
Thiero didn't play much, but he made some memorable plays in his limited time.

Had that nice reverse layup on offense, but I wanted to highlight his defense on Ingram (who is inbounding the ball) here.

Not sure what AR was doing overhelping there though?

Bron struggled a bit to drive past defenders, and also lacked the burst to finish at the rim vs traffic.

Thought he caught a second wind in the 2nd half, but it's clear he's still finding his game shape (and feeling his age).

Still made some big plays down the stretch.

Bron sacrificing his streak to make the right basketball play. So apropos. Helluva basket by Rui.

This post won't make sense to most, but I saw a SF6 streamer spend 18 straight hours tilt queuing on Master rank with a new character trying to get back to 1500 MR.

Like, man, it took me almost 9 months to get back to 1500 MR. Trying to do it in a single session sounds like utter madness.

Feels like the Raptors jump out to an early 20-9 lead. Now whether LA reacts accordingly (or not)... we shall see.

NBC News projects: Matt Van Epps (R) wins TN-7 special election.

Trump won the district by 22 points in 2024.

Now with 90% of the vote in, Van Epps is winning by 4.1%.

The "LeBron net rating" truthers will be feasting tonight

When I see the Lakers being passive (especially on the boards) and slow every single game like this, you're telling me Adou Thiero couldn't help this team?
December 2, 2025 at 5:09 AM
Once Booker was ruled out of the game, I knew Phoenix had this one in the bag. The Lakers are pathetically predictable.
I think the Suns are gonna be a tough game tonight. Hopefully, the Lakers come out and sustain their effort level from start to finish.

No team worse in basketball than the Lakers with an early big lead lmao. Constantly playing down to the level of the opponent.

You can kinda understand a team like the Dodgers going through the motions coming off a championship run.

This Lakers team, on the other hand, hasn't done anything yet.
December 1, 2025 at 5:20 AM
The Lakers are playing with their food again. They barely squeaked by in that last game in Utah. You give a bad or shorthanded team this much leash, it can come back to bite you.

This happened for the Lakers in that big win in Portland, and happened against them in the loss at Atlanta.

We're gonna need a truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg style trials to reckon with all of this evil, and any Dem candidate for office who shies away from a full reckoning in the name of "moving forward as a nation" can get well and truly fucked

Enjoyed the discussion on the LA's big three.

You not only have to gameplan for those three as individual players, but you also have to account for the different combinations (e.g., Bron/AR, Luka/Bron, all three together).

This has to both mentally and physically exhausting for opposing defenses.
New pod: Lakers Take Axe to Clipper Aspirations

Luka, LeBron, and Austin combined for 99 points in a spirited win over the Clippers that clinched their group in the NBA Cup. The guys discuss emerging chemistry between the stars, the 2nd half defensive adjustments, and more.
