Something very weird was happening. And if something very weird was happening, he wanted it to be happening to him.

Brain Candy 2 for me, and I would force everyone to watch the original and tell me how great they think it is
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Tales from the Borderlands (Telltale) started 11 years ago today 🥰

I will never stop recommending this narrative game. It doesn't matter if you've never played Borderlands. It's an excellent sci-fi comedy.

This is absolutely my firsthand experience
fwiw from my experience as a tech worker a lot of folks do genuinely use LLMs for coding, which they can be extremely helpful with, but almost nobody relies on them to answer questions the way a lot of laypeople do

It’s fascinating how this administration has basically forced social media companies to choose: you can either have the president on this site or you can have content moderation but you can’t have both. Because any mod rules would forbid death threats & bigotry and he does both on a daily basis

I predict people 50 years from now will be appalled at the pharmaceutical drugs we regularly ingest, kind of like how we look today at things like the Shoe-fitting fluoroscope

This is classic dumb corporate strategy. If I’m mad enough to cancel my subscription because of this, $20 is not going to mollify me, & everyone is going to redeem this because why not get a free $20 so it’s just wasting money while giving the appearance to people in management that they are trying

I honestly don't get the obsession with human-shaped robotics. We evolved this way more or less by chance, not because this is some ideal form. Make robots use a sensible form!!
