Doflamingo stood, his heart racing. He was thrilled. He was furious. He was captivated.  He had sought Wano as a promise, he had marked it as his the moment he took from its soil, the moment he had won it's people over. Whether this man was a conquest at the present or for the future, all he knew was that he would be the one to see Wano to its bloody end. “Take what you want, but the nation will be mine.”  “And–”  The man's breath was heavy, his club gripped tight, only his pinky finger supporting the massive tankard by its ceramic loop. “–you are?” he dragged the word, curious and growled tight through his teeth. “Donquixote Doflamingo.” The boy said with a smile on his face, glasses hiding his eyes. Kaido chuckled low. “Never heard of you.” His lip curled “all these new pirates think they can take over the world! Step aside punk– it's my generation that's going to rule. Don't get stupid just because you're young.”  Doflamingo laughed, his posture loosened as he moved to sit on the mat left empty in the wannabe shogun's place. He set the bottles down, his legs hanging open easily as he popped the stopper of one. “You're wrong, old man. Nothing will stop me.” He tilted his head to look at him. “Not even you, …?”  “Kaido.”  Doflamingo set his jaw, his smile tight. The world's strongest creature. Doflamingo felt the tilt, the aching shift in his perspective. This man was strong. He didn't know who he was antagonizing. He swallowed the wine with a quirk to his lips. “Looks like we're even.” he dipped his chin, his eyes glancing quickly over the rim of his glasses. “I've never heard of you.”
