I was lucky to be in the RAH the night We Shall See Him As He Is was performed at the Proms in 1992. Rosario’s contribution was electric.

My second guess then is Edward Gardner.

And I don't want to detract from anyone who might want to see it. I just think it is a perfect book and that is hard to translate into another format.

I love The Mezzanine so much. I came across it a few years ago and was totally smitten from start to finish.

I wish I could find my copy of Chatwin’s In Patagonia. It’s in a stack somewhere.

It puts me in mind of movies or TV where one character is helping another from the front and that just seems to make something that’s challenging infinitely harder. (And it’s a very sweet photo)

I’ll have to give it a listen. I’ve done it many times over the years, but now I’m doing a renovation that will more than double the amount of space needed for my current inventory. It has me wanting to get back everything I got rid of over the years.
