And write them down. Good casual conversations are littered with tons of stories. Working and talking with old people is awesome for this reason. I also hit myself on the head when I realize 7 days later that I could've mentioned something relevant.

Idk if you're personally commissioning them or just recommending someone to another client

Congrats! You've graduated to data oriented design! Now you can go back to implementing the mandatory Unreal Engine OOP classes and interfaces with multiple inheritance and "State Manager" objects and "getStateManager()" and getters/setter interfaces for each field of your class and...

Melons get an exception of course. The inner texture is always the same and reoriented with the slice. The flower pot just does whatever I guess. That's how I'd go about it.

For anything crazier or more refined (like proper browned bread edges), I'd use procedural textures.

It's two images? A sliced pencil chooses the wrong cross-section texture if it's not perfectly vertical. For the UVs? Same as Blender's "project from view" feature, scaled to touch the edges of the texture. The bread texture looks the worst. It's worth noting none of these are too concave or wacky.

With depth stencils+pixel shader you can clip the mesh but it'll reveal a hole. Single-plane boolean on a low poly mesh is cheap too. GPUs already clip triangles intersecting the near-plane and far-plane. One tiny mesh is ez on a CPU. As for the textures...

What does your portfolio look like? Is it mostly similar to the art you post here?

Are you doing this with the steamdeck?

I'm always shocked to find out artists like you are younger than me (even just by a couple months)

You have that swag ON

Did you make lusego .com?

That's amazing. I can't imagine how you feel rn being the right guy in the right place 6 months ago lol. Did you notice the typo back then, too?

I think it's the Pure Silk foil shaver? Looks similar at least. The whole thing was shaped like a soap bar.

Those flat things only work if the hair is first shaved short.

Idk. It's a small buzzer plus an attachment so the blades won't run directly against my skin and my hair keeps some length. Can't go wrong with anything like that. Tho for Christmas my sister got an unusual electric thing that has a flat rectangular surface you run across the leg to shave it bare.

Heck yeah dude sasquatch leg gang 👊. I was blessed with exceptionally wacky body hair so sometimes I use a buzzer to look like I have normal-length body hair instead. It takes 60 seconds too. Fantastic investment. Also using a razor across your whole body sounds dangerous and painful.

Seems like a really interesting project! I took a quick look. It's gonna be federated/self-hostable? Pretty cool idea although that last aspect is gonna make it way more time consuming than it needs to be I think.
