Had a great convo with my 10yo son today—racial profiling, voting rights, all at my son’s prompting. I was so proud when he declared: “I don’t know how black women have survived in this country. It makes me feel bad that I’m a white boy.” My son is trans. May he never feel the irony of this comment.

And just like that, our week of bike commuting in Seattle has come to a close. These guys did amazing, especially for having never ridden in traffic let alone with a bunch of hard core bike commuters—who were surprisingly kind and didn’t yell at us once ❤️ 🚴♂️

In an absolutely devastating ruling, the Supreme Court has allowed the transgender military ban to go into effect.
This is shocking - the ban explicitly called transgender people dishonorable for being transgender. It is as clear as day soaked in animus.
