I'm up for sabbatical in 2027. That's when I hope to launch a writer's retreat and residence in Detroit. Focused primarily (not exclusively) on Black children's authors & illustrators.

IDK who needs to hear this, but you're allowed to like one part of a band's discography and not the other. You don't have to know the whole history of a band to be a fan. You can just simply LIKE the music. You don't need to know names of every album or song or band member. You can just LIKE music.

I really enjoyed this book about a Palestinian girl with autism and her high school experience. This book was a good read - even for someone who is not a teenager. This brought me right back to high school days and the angst of growing up. #amreading #books #YA

I think this book is the one I’d recommend to every single woman. Teenage girls need to read it. Start early.
