We need global population decline for the health of the planet. DeGrowth is needed. Maintaining this level of population is straining resources and worse for all the other species on the planet.

Neoliberalism is just "global reaganism".

The stock market reigns, economic indicators are all that matters, and you cut taxes and govt program to allow business to control the means of production and flow of money.

We need strong govt that recognizes its place above capital.

How many of the single family units are townhouses or have an HOA? Basically can’t see anything being built that isn’t like a condo. Inflating the price and making it more profitable for builders and relieving local municipalities from infrastructure and maintenance costs.

So they end up being recruited by medical groups which have their own bureaucracy and quotas for seeing patients. Essentially the greed and efficiency rampant across most of our society is manifested in health care or any care profession- education.

The shortage is by design. The AMA intentionally limits the # of new medical students and saddles them with student debt. Going into specialties guarantees paying off college and medical school debt sooner. Primary care doctors also don’t have the capital for setting up offices.

The only reason this is a concern now is because the economic and political system we currently have relies on ethno national identities and a perpetual model of economic growth (increasing values and profits). Less people of a particular ethnicity (ex:European) endangers their national identity

We are in an affordability crisis and you have to find reasons? Since the dawn of humanity, when resources are scarce, birth rates declined because people were smart and did not want to suffer. Previously it was natural disaster like an ice age or man made wars.

The industry, let's be honest about it, should reform and stop exploiting undocumented laborers. They should help them getting regular citizenship or, at least, what it takes to make a legal living and benefit of that few public welfare for which they pay taxes.

Definition of a gerontocracy: fatigue, lack of energy to fight, innovate and tired of doing their jobs but insistent on keeping their position in order to maintain their exalted privileges = Democratic leadership.

Capitalism requires endless growth. It's the business model of cancer and is exactly what is destroying the planet, the media, and the government. Dialing back the population can be done with fewer billionaires sucking up resources.

This is a thing in England and in some scandi countries. Abhorrent practice that is a legacy of their poverty over hundreds of years. No one with Mediterranean/Asian/ Africa roots would ever consider doing this. Just do a potluck plan.
