I TIRE of the excuse ‘music is not as good as it use to be’ to justify how impossible it is to be a working class musician and actually survive.
It’s exactly the same as only shopping in Primark and thinking ‘fashion isn’t what it used to be/it all looks the same/it’s all shit’

I have never been happier for someone to win #masterchefprofessionals - what a genuine star. You rarely see someone come from legitimate adversity, with the utter cruelty of life, to not being gifted with privilege, actually being able to climb to the top with pure talent and graft 🥲 so deserved.
