Wanting to read nonfiction to make sense of the world but wanting to escape in fiction but wanting to stay educated but wanting to read to recommend. The cycle sucks.

If you like short story collections, add Vampires in the Lemon Grove by Karen Russell to your collection! I give the book as a whole 4 ⭐️s, I definitely loved some of the stories more than others.

4 ⭐️s for this one. The last half of the book grabbed me by the shoulders and would NOT let me go until I finished reading it. It has a good amount of smut paired with a fantastic plot. Highly recommend it!!
