Is this part of a Borsetshire Constabulary spin off series? I’d been weaning myself off R4, but I can hear I’d forgotten what a comfy fit it is.

And rightly so!

I was thinking ‘McFuck’ (what’s your name, McFuck?) I Googled the line to check it. Most the of the hits where photos of Ronald McDonald.

I think it’s because the boundary of Meltham and Honley changed. I read (can’t remember where) her father campaigned for this change.

Not that many did, and they paid comparatively little of their income and wealth in taxation. Philanthropists like Carnegie or Rowntree were the exception and not the rule.

Zack P has impressed me so far. I detest Farage and to think of the mess he’ll make if predictions for 2029 are on the mark makes me despair for the future of a progressive England.

That said, I think he’s still suspended from the PLP…

I got teapots Assam teabags a few years ago, after a long time drinking the Twinnings ones for ages. First few cups were amazingly refreshing. The perfect brew. Habituation soon began to take hold and it wasn’t too long before the experience became everyday. Eventually moved to Lidl Assam!

Thanks for mentioning Albert Wainwright. I never knew of him. Great video introduction on The Hepworth’s website.
