the most basic reasoning is that from a materialist perspective, morality is very much a Not material concept. its mystical/metaphysical, and difficult to extricate from its religious foundations. maybe it exists, but if it does, it doesnt shape why things happen

1) Combat Liberalism, 2) Crime and Punishment, 3) some very basic breakdowns of Foucault, 4) googling and poking around on the topic, 5) in tandem with attempts to understand "morality" as a historicized product of its time (esp via Christianity)

i think its partially stuff thats been formulated by irl discussions amongst ppl you and i both know, combining recommendations for addressing morality OCD a la questioning the concepts of good/evil, reading more of the OG theory Classics as well as

still sad about the old toaster oven being contaminated by the ceiling water :( its nice to have a new one but the old one had sentimental value as it was given to me by my friend when i moved out of her place

biased because this was my big hack to overcome having morality OCD but try a little experiment where you assess issues under the premise that morality isn't real/relevant and see if you come away with more accurate and in depth answers

thinking about this sort of thing A Lot these days because ive figured out i *do* want to pursue a BFA, but of course, i want to figure out how as marxist-leninist to not fall into a small business owner type of relationship with my work as i do
