Homi-Lung European Project
@homilung.bsky.social
Homi-Lung is a European project deciphering the causal relationship between cardiovascular and respiratory diseases progression and the immune and microbiome alterations observed during and after pneumonia.

It is coordinated from @univ-nantes.fr.
A study in Critical Care followed 80 critically ill patients under invasive mechanical ventilation (VAP) to understand how lung microbiome, immunity and metabolism evolve.

It was led by Ingrid G. Bustos and colleagues, including Homi-Lung partner Robert P. Dickson from @umich.edu.
