Homi-Lung is a European project deciphering the causal relationship between cardiovascular and respiratory diseases progression and the immune and microbiome alterations observed during and after pneumonia.

It is coordinated from @univ-nantes.fr.
Patients who developed VAP showed higher TNF-α levels and metabolic profiles suggesting a shift to anaerobic metabolism, pointing to early immune–metabolic signatures of infection.
