Temps are on the downswing, so we bought Bean a cozy new parka. I wondered why she didn’t stand up once it was on, then realized I’d put both legs in the same opening.

Temps are on the downswing, so we bought Bean a cozy new parka. I wondered why she didn’t stand up once it was on, then realized I’d put both legs in the same opening.

A few of the hundreds of geese flying overhead during our walk this morning. They’ve been settling for the night in the rapidly-shrinking area of the lake that’s still ice-free, then heading to the fields in the morning to glean the last of the grain.
