look, I'm not into folk horror because of the "folk are evil! EVIL people will kill you!" aspect of it
I'm in it for the gnarly folk cures and folk magic and weird occult stuff
blood and clay and salt in a hex jar, children buried alive in the walls of church as guardian spirits
