Don’t put this out in the air. We are all Hoosier fans (at least until they play Georgia) and always want everyone to beat the Tide.

Met a 40yo gallery-ist at a party in SF. We spent most of the party talking abt the art world, but mostly what she talked abt was how most of her life now is telling AI “artists” that they are not artists, she won’t sell their “work” in her gallery, & that “prompt writer” isn’t an artistic medium.

I’m visiting some leftist fam in Seattle to work over Xmas & we had this convo the first night here.
I won’t vote for Gavin if he’s the nom. He doesn’t support my values & opposes some of my most deeply held policy choices (he seems eager to underbus trans folx & keep CA housing expensive). F him

Thanks Karl; this was a great read. Love writing that nails a dynamic that is ubiquitous, yet unspoken.

I get now why I feel like I’m living thru a mass delusion? As a gay southern black man raised by evangelicals & calling them out all my life as conspiracy nuts, I’ve been primed to see it.

I’m going to make it for the fam I’m cooking Xmas for just bc I like the name furikake and your taste in food seems exquisite (from the photos you post) so I trust you on this. 😎

Also, reading this article, I’m reminded that the 10 or so times that I’ve been to New Orleans in the past decade was me taking Amtrak from Los Angeles to Atlanta and having an overnight layover in New Orleans. It’s a 3 day trip to ATL, but I want to say it costs less than $150.

My buddy & I here in Oakland were just discussing how life these days seems to be about rooting for injuries all around for everyone with any sort of power, which in turn is leaving lots of people with no optimistic, positive future foreseeable from this point.

Funny, I saw this one in the theater twice! It was that good.

Everyone was obsessed w this film when I was in high school!
I was always uncomfortable watching it with my buddies bc I wanted to fuck Brandon Lee so bad I couldn’t stand seeing the movie.

Ah the hateful 90s.

Is there some wingnut lore I’m missing from not living online that I need to understand this?
I’ve stared at it for a sec and just 🤷🏾‍♂️?

Maybe it’s something only other creepy rapists get?

Ha! You’ve earned a follow just bc read my mind about all this het nonsense! 😎
Can’t these straight folks just actually have sex with each other and stop all this incel-coded drama?!

Been thinking this since I heard about this. This makes no sense. Are they trying to hand Cooper this Senate seat!?
I’m hoping they listen to Coach Tubs and invade Birmingham & Montgomery too? Send them to Philly & Pittsburgh too!
Politics doesn’t matter until it’s in your face apparently.

I think a 3 way tie for 5 even, w/
5a. Wildest Dreams
5b. Blank Space (“Boys only want love if it’s torture” rings true to me & is great lyric poetry for her intended audience).

This is hilarious bc I see that cheezit commercial constantly during the college football season and chuckle every time bc I’ve never had a Cheezit in my life and haven’t ever gotten the appeal of them, have told this to friends, to find out I’m the only person I know who isn’t a Cheezit fan.🤷🏾‍♂️

I’ve watched as multiple sat through multiple green lights bc it was yielding to pedestrians, bicyclist, scooters, & others passing it. I have never been in one (I can’t imagine why I would take a job away from a person), but I don’t get the utility of it over a Lyft.
