I heard some real shitty takes today.

Sometimes in retail people just love to tell on themselves.

Charles, wherever you are, you deserve to be you. I’m sorry your family can’t/wont be there for you. I hope you find peace out there.

Sometimes I’m “blessed” to be invited to complimentary events, but it cost me
$90 on uber or 4 hours of public transport. And I have to
Leave work to go. 😬🤷‍♀️ I mean I’m trying to be more social. But also I’m broke 😆 even for a free event.
Thanks tho. I’m sure your product will do well.

I’m an adult so on weekdays I take my first cup of coffee back to bed and on weekends I have two cups of coffee in bed. It’s literally the best. Some weekends it’s a coffee scull-a-thon cause we have a long hike planned. But coffee IN BED.

Love how much I’m learning about wasps on the neighborhood Facebook group. Makes a pleasant change from all the helicopter posts.

The horrors, I went to a Skrewball event and ate a lot of peanut things and drank a lot of peanut things. When I got home a had an itchy rash on my neck. Don’t tell me I’m developing an adult aquired allergy! I don’t have time for that!

Some guy with obi-wan kenobi vibes keeps tricking me into learning about local politics. And I’m not mad about it 🤔

Here’s my industry forecast. We’re in for a summer of terrible new RTD’s and even worse imported “premium” low carb beer. But something fun and decent is coming in January.

Help us get out of Gaza
let us rebuild our lives, please, my friends. share for us much as you can during this period, because there is news that the crossing will open so we can get out from Gaza.
Here is Jamal from Gaza whose family lost everything and he is trying with all his might to rebuild their lives and help them with the crazy costs in Gaza and travel outside Gaza when the crossings open. I hope you support us. Your little support, even if it is $5

House sitting is over. I’m back in my own house, which is nice, but there’s no cats here to spoil. And there’s the complaining flatmate (they have to “get up early to get to work in the city tomorrow” 10am start. Just brutal.)

View from kauri point centennial park looking over the harbour to central Auckland. Summers coming friends. I can taste it.

I’m house sitting and they have double glazing. This is luxury, so quiet, so warm. This should have been the standard since ages ago. If you’re on the north shore please contact me for house sitting needs. Especially if you have cats😻

Have you got problems? But feel weird about burdening your friends with them. I tell you what, I bet your friends love you and would want to hear about it. But just in case. You can vent here.

I don’t even know how to describe it, but today bird song near my house has changed, the sounds of summer on its way. The calls that make you flash back to summer holidays. The sounds that make you think of waking up hot and jumping out of bed as soon as possible to make the most of the summers day.

Please download an app to fully enjoy the book. That’s an immediate no from me. published in 2015, what are the chances of the app still being available? As suspected website no longer exists and neither does the app. Guess I’ll just read the book in the sequential order 🤷‍♀️ what could go wrong.

I don’t meditate. I probably should. But I do like to come home and make a meal that requires a solid 30 minutes of fine dicing.

I keep buying books at op shops, even though I barely have the discipline to read them when the doom scroll machine is nearby, even though I have a box of books to donate in my boot.
But finding other people’s cute notes is an experience you just don’t get from reading a library book on a kobo

Is it the people, is it the events, is it the hospitality, is it the good food, is it the walkability? A weekend away in Wellington always leaves me feeling a million bucks.

10 hours work and cooked my own dinner. Flat mate comments “jeez that’s a lot” referring to the “effort”,
as he eats his uber order. Mate I’m a broke bitch trying to be less broke in this god forsaken economy. And to everyone out there, Cooking from scratch every night, I SEE YOU! It’s hard work 🫡
