That is to say: Hammer still best.

Not me having not begun to even assemble Cursed City for various reasons, but getting oddly excited about this announcement for a new Warhammer Quest. So curious if mini quality will live up to Cursed City's.
A box art for the board game Warhammer Quest Darkwater that has yet to be revealed properly.

I think it just unified the button and isn't complaining if you choose a video anymore.

Been busy wrapping the main heat pipes with insulation to reduce losses and get the warmth where it's supposed to go. Don't underestimate rock wool and it's fibers, wear your masks when handling that.

Hen and Frog.

Ink and gouache on Fabriano Medioevalis, 95 × 64 mm.
Drawing in black ink, primarily in silhouette, of a hen startled by a frog leaping out from a small cluster of ferns. The hen's comb and wattle are the only touch of red gouache.

Haven't been playing much at all let alone make videos of it, but with the hammer back in I couldn't help but do a rough cut of this really close solo victory. youtu.be/EPMZK4xJlp4?...

Is patreon still the go to for that sort of thing even with the not so welcome changes over the years? Does anyone replicate the success people can have there on their ko-fi or other platforms? Seems a really odd, opaque landscape these days.

I would second the recommendation for watching Season 1 and then just stopping there.

Not autocorrect preventing my grackling pun. 😅

Very sorry for your loss. It sounds like she was a true blessing to have in ones life. My deepest condolences.

Social media sure made some parts easy and better, but the state of it now urgh.

To me this was *the* proof that 3D was not just a visual gimmick but helped with distances and platforming. That's the one thing I distinctly remember from playing this. "Wow this makes Mario games so much more fun & precise for me."

Might be worth a try. I'd probably have started if I had better/bigger hosting for that sort of thing. Maybe a project for next year.

Maybe it's time to just set up and host a forum.

Last but not least he also gifted me a Big Pauldron™ and made sure it was one with a huge hammer on top of it.

Nice, it's one game I never played.

Not only that mag, I also got this Squigosaur I've admired ever since I saw it getting released. Want to give it a really nice skin pattern and colour. Gonna be hard to figure out a scheme for it. (This also includes my first and only Ork mini so far, even if it's almost a sidenote here for me.)

So good. I love how the shadow on his eyeball lines up with the darker feathers behind it. The pattern and lighting all falls together so well in this photo.

The box, the minis in their own little box inside and the magazine. As someone who isn't actually playing Warhammer, these "getting started" bundles are a neat way to get single minis to paint & a book to leaf through to enjoy art and an overview of factions & see the evolution of it all over time.
