Hot Page is for the designer developer every man. If you can use WebFlow these days you can probably just write CSS and in the process avoid their predatory pricing model. We cool, we punks, we Hot Page!

Is there a point to building another web page? It’s all we can do to stop the pain of existing without building webpages.

Want to create a sticky header in Hot Page? Do it like GOD intended: “position: sticky; top: 0;” It’ll be stickier than the inside of a burnt marshmallow.

Are you DIY? Or are you “do it for me because I’m too busy to do anything more than smoke joints and eat fish unsustainably”? Ya’ll DIY’s, come this way!

Designers who learn CSS free themselves from the man. I will still be stuck inside Hot Page but you’ll be free to build without begging a developer to follow the spec.

Attention is all I needed to make this all go away. Think of something else that’s not this late-stage capitalist dystopia. late stage only if it ends soon

Something fun today: Split Flap is an ode to the old train station signs that had the flipping characters. Created by ‪@hotpage.bsky.social‬.
Fair warning: it’s fun, but might trigger motion sickness so, use with caution.

Did someone ask for a contact form? this web component lets you have that same form without getting your hands dirty in the javascript, homie fx.hot.page/form Old-ass form programming = bad, bad! HotFX solution = good!
HotFX Form
Submit HTML forms using JavaScript with this standalone web component. Use the <hotfx-form> custom element and style different form states with CSS.

Why build Hot Page? No, like really, WHY ANOTHER WEB PAGE BUILDER?? There must be a reason that I exist in a world full of too much of everything. hot.page/blog/why-ho...
Why Hot Page?
Hot Page surfaces the “good parts” of web technologies as they already exist — and smooths out the sharp corners on the rest of it with a better user interface.

We want YOU to play around with web components! Edit the "demonic demo" here: hotpage.dev/playground/f... Hot Page is just HTML elements. Custom elements are just HTML elements 🤯
The coolest part (to me) is that you can BYO-Web Components. That means you can build a site with YOUR brand and YOUR building blocks. Incredible.

Here's a page Tim made about demons using Fluent UI (the system I work on): playground.hot.page/fluent-ui

Platform interop is a heckuva drug.
