I’m glad to see members of Congress working together on the bipartisan #FixOurForests bill. Wildfires are getting worse, and they hurt Republican and Democratic areas alike. Send your Senator a message to encourage them to support this bipartisan bill: cclusa.org/fofa. #climatechange

This is the 11th year that I have tracked the average temperature as recorded by NOAA at the Minneapolis/St.Paul airport. October will likely finish at more than 5 degrees above normal. Watch for more factoids in the future.

We're disappointed that the Trump administration took such a strong oppositional stance to the IMO's exploration of a carbon price on global shipping.

Pricing carbon pollution is smart, effective policy, and we remain committed to building more support for it in the U.S.

A fierce Trump administration push to stop the global shipping industry from paying for its own climate pollution appears successful.

The #FixOurForests Act uses smart, science-based solutions to restore forest health and reduce wildfire risk, while preserving important environmental standards.

That's why we've joined 21 other organizations urging the Senate to pass the bill: citizensclimatelobby.org/blog/news/cc...

Citizens’ Climate Lobby meeting with @repangiecraig.bsky.social key staffer, Rachel Hunter, seen on the far left. I have enjoyed working with Rachel for the last few years. She and Rep. Craig are so supportive of the work of Citizens’ Climate Lobby.

I’m in Washington, D.C., to lobby Congress on Tuesday as part of #CCL2025. @CitizensClimate is their spot on Bluesky. So proud to be with CCL climate advocates from all across the country and from other countries, too.

The President’s unilateral decision to launch direct strikes and threaten a wider, open-ended war in the Middle East without Congressional debate or authorization puts U.S. and allied troops and civilians at risk. Right now our top priority must be protecting Americans and our allies in the region.

The Iranian regime’s nuclear program is one of the greatest threats to the U.S. and our allies, and I remain committed to ensuring Iran never possesses a nuclear weapon. Like many Minnesotans, I believe we must avoid another costly war in the Middle East that will risk American lives.

Iran’s nuclear program is a threat to global security, and they cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.

But President’s Trump’s action to bomb Iran with no consultation with Congress is unacceptable and ignores the Constitution.

Rep. Miller of Illinois is wrong. She wrote, “America was founded as a Christian nation, and I believe our government should reflect that truth, not drift further from it.” We were founded as a secular nation with no established religion. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I am happy about that.
