I'm that #ActuallyAutistic kid they didn't think could write screenplays. Far left, but politically homeless. 🏳️‍🌈 Bi, he/him. 🇮🇱🕊🇵🇸 #BlackLivesMatter #ProChoice
Denethor can have tomatoes dribbling down his chin, but a brown-skinned Hobbit is too far. 😒

Fair enough. Bad example.

Another one is when I explain ICE is only 22 years old. Then you'd have to explain what border enforcement was like before ICE, and even I don't know that because I was nowhere near a border growing up and hadn't read up on it.

How reasonable is that? I'm a 35yo millennial and there was a LOT of stuff I don't know until after I graduated, particularly stuff I assumed was older than it actually was. I remember what airport security was like in the '90s, but it's hard to explain it to someone who only remembers post-9/11.

If you say so.

That is going to be my new catchphrase: "revolutions are messy, dirty and short on burritos."

I use moderate and centrist interchangeably and hadn't considered there might be a difference between them.

Exactly. There is a hunger for fighters to oppose Trump and Democrats are all like, "But-But... the process! The courts!"

While Democrats follow the rules, Republicans make a joke of every damn rule.

As much as I dislike moderates, they offer one thing radicals don't: stability.

Revolution is sexy until you're in one. Then the guillotines come out and you get accused of being a kulak if you own even a single cow.

Pretty much. There's a reason Democrats are hemorrhaging working-class voters.

If the Democrats' best hope is a guy that films himself tearing down homeless tents, the party is fucking doomed and what should be an easy defeat for Trump will be a cakewalk for him.

We've unfortunately been here before.
