Yesterday, large protests took place in Bulgaria. Thousands of citizens gathered to express their dissatisfaction with the government and its proposed state budget; the protest is also motivated by the corruption and lack of transparency in government decisions.

Just finished reading
Studentenfriedhof to Soldatenfriedhof by Roger Steward.

This book presents the first detailed history of the Langemark German Cemetery written for English-speaking visitors. It traces the site’s development from its creation during the First World War until today.

Since 2024, I have been working on a new project. It is still in the research phase. The working title is “FOREVERMORE I Love You”. I hope it becomes a book one day.

58 missiles and 194 drones fired on Ukraine last night.

That's how Russia "wants peace" while Trump keeps twisting Ukraine's arms.

British troops have fought and died alongside the Americans in Afghanistan and Iraq, just to be written off as non-existent people from "some random country". We have to maintain tolerable relations with this administration to try and minimise damage, but my god it's not easy.
Vance tells Fox the only US security guarantee in Ukraine will be the mineral deal.

And he describes British and French peacekeeping troops as “20k troops from some random country that hasn’t fought a war in 30 or 40 years”.
