This is the way. MCP takes up context when other options exist. I’ve just been too lazy until now to get a solution working with Claude. I’ve done MCPless tool calls with others like opencode and droid. Time to go all in on Claude for a bit 😁

Do you use any skills, agents, or Claude specific features? I just recently tried extensions in Claude code and it’s pretty awesome. Only the default anthropic marketplace though.

That’s a different way of looking at it; I like it. I need more usage even for Sonnet, so it was bound to happen. I just have to be smart and cancel other AI things if i do lol.

I was debating on Cerebras Code Max or Claude Max. Such a hard decision given how much and how fast you get inference from Cerebras. But in the end i’m going quality over quantity.

Yeah, upgrading today. I think they knew what they were doing when they gave Opus to pro users. “First one’s on me.”

Sold. So many cool apps are Mac only, and I feel like I miss out quite often lol.

So, how I see it: Sonnet is if you want a friend, and Opus if you want to get stuff done. lol I’ve never felt so rich since they out Opus in Pro. But it sure does eat up a bunch of your 5h window just on chat alone.

How are Alpha and Opus/Sonnet 4.5?
Are they any better for you? Have they changed your workflow or how effective pond is? Been a while and i was curious on the new Claude developments :)
